the cottage, called Beudy Bach & Beudy Mawr, was well presented and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed cooking our meals in the fully equipped kitchen and the cottage was spotlessly clean. the best part was the communal area at the rear of the property, which was a real sun trap. We also appreciated the beautiful scenery and enjoyed going on walks, including a visit to Aber falls. the host, Lliwen, was extremely helpful and made our stay even better. She even greeted us with delicious homemade bread and plum jelly. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back in the future. Cons: Nothing, all was good. 👍🏼.

I recently stayed at Mountainstudios in Bangor for a relaxing getaway. The accommodations were incredibly comfortable and impeccably clean. The stunning scenery surrounding the property provided the perfect backdrop for unwinding. The hosts, Lliwen and Paul, were exceptional and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Their homemade bread and plum jelly were a delightful touch. Lliwen's recommendation of the Innings for Sunday lunch was spot on, as we ended up going back for breakfast multiple times. We can't thank Lliwen and Paul enough for their hospitality. We will definitely be returning.
I highly recommend this hotel.

The cottages were beautifully presented with all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. the location, although slightly remote, offered stunning views of the mountainous countryside. We were able to go on plenty of walks, including a visit to Aber falls. the highlight of our stay was the communal area at the back of the property, which was a sun trap and perfect for relaxing.
The accommodation we booked for our Christmas stay was a major disappointment. the underfloor heating didn't work properly and the thermostat was covered up, leaving us cold throughout our stay.

They even took the time to show us around and give us advice on how to use the facilities, including the luxurious hot tub. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, homely, and impeccably clean. The bed and lounge furniture were extremely comfortable, ensuring a relaxing and stress-free stay. I was also grateful for the delicious bread and wine that greeted us upon arrival. The location of the cottage was perfect - remote enough for a peaceful getaway, yet close to all the amenities we needed. The views from the cottage were breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect and unforgettable stay. I cannot praise this cottage and its owners enough for making our stay absolutely wonderful.

The cottage itself was stunning, with gorgeous views from the hot tub. It was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed, from cookbooks to a torch. I was even greeted with a basket of fresh baked bread, eggs, and wine upon arrival. It was the perfect cozy and peaceful getaway, and I couldn't recommend it enough.

The underfloor heating did not work properly, leaving the accommodation cold and uncomfortable. The bathroom suffered from excessive dampness and mould, with no proper ventilation or heated towel rail.
